Lilies

lily, watercolor, yuriozaki

I have made several pencil drawings of lilies a few weeks ago in preparation for watercolor. I was interrupted by other projects and finally got around to finish them. Since the lilies were long gone, I made up colors completely different from actual flowers. I use a bucket of dirty water which a student left as under wash. I applied multiple layers by the bucket water to make the watermarks. Being frugal could be creative.

Harrison Brothers Artists Reception

I am excited to be exhibiting at Harrison Brothers with Leslie Lockhart and Carol Foret. My recent floral pieces will be on display. If you are able to, please stop in on June 25th from 5-8 pm for a chance to meet the artists, view our work, and enjoy light refreshments.
